The Black Nurses Leadership Program (BNLP) (formerly known as the Black Nurses Leadership Institute) is a community-driven, evidence-based learning initiative aimed at promoting racial equity, enhancing success, and cultivating minority leaders in healthcare. By offering a meticulously structured professional development curriculum grounded in adult learning principles, the BNLP underscores the value of mentorship. Through this program, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of key leadership principles and essential professional skills.

This program is aimed at Black Nurses and nursing students within Canada, especially those who could benefit significantly from the tailored content and specialized support offered.

The program will be delivered over a series of monthly workshops (held virtually on Saturdays). Check back for 2026 dates.
